My students and I at The Art Director’s Club Student Exhibition in Denver.
My students won: Best Packaging, Best Multimedia Design, and four of the six Judge’s Choice Awards!
46 of the 132 pieces in the exhibition were from UW.

This semester the UW Art Department hosted David Carson as our Eminent-Artist-in-Residence. It was an awesome experience and I truly enjoyed getting to know David and seeing him interact with my students. I love this picture because it looks like I am yelling at him. Not true but funny anyway!
Also this semester I hosted James Victore as a visiting artist. James is my personal design hero and it was one of the most amazing moments of my life getting to meet him and see my students flourish in his workshop. The last day of the workshop we went rock-climbing at Vedawoo and made it all the way to the top!
Last spring James Victore invited my students and I to the one week SahreVictoreWilker workshop in NYC. It was a blast going to NYC with my students Spencer, Hannah and Dani…the workshop was pretty dang awesome too.
